for some reason or other... i think it had to do with the mention of the game monopoly, i've been thinking allot about the ludlow massacre recently... rough thing to have stuck in the brain though, hard not to obsess over.

spam

last night i saw spamalot... in birmingham alabama... at the BJCC... the birmingham jefferson convention complex... my ticket was purchased for me as a late christmas gift from an ATF agent. we parked down the street from said BJCC at the ATF/DEA compound... across the street from the FBI (an agency i'm assured, by said ATF agent, is a total joke... though i think they're just dandy.)compound...
i also had barbaque for lunch, steak for dinner, and will undoubtably hit up a chicken and waffles place in the near future.
i love the south.

high on pills... watching century of the self. and you can too. (ps. jesus got struck by lightning.)

learn all about how freud's theories on group psychology and our sense of 'self' have been used to manipulate our everyday decisions on everything from political ideals to cigarette brands...
if for some reason you don't feel like watching 4 hours of video this second... you can go to google video and download all four installments so as to watch on yer ipod/psp/brain implant whenever you see fit.

we'll meet again...

The first nuclear explosion in history took place in New Mexico, at the Alamogordo Test Range, on the Jornada del Muerto (Journey of Death) desert, in the test named Trinity. This test was intended to prove the radical new implosion weapon design that had been developed at Los Alamos during the previous year. This design, embodied in the test device called Gadget, involved a new technology that could not be adequately evaluated without a full scale test. The gun-type uranium bomb, in contrast, was certain to be effective and did not merit testing. In addition, since no nuclear explosion had ever occurred on Earth, it seemed advisible that at least one should be set off with careful monitoring to test whether all of the theoretical predictions held.
(This has the the original sound so you might want to turn your speakers down.)

This kinda speaks for itself.

The Crossroads Series tests were the first nuclear explosions since World War II, and the first nuclear weapon tests since Trinity. These were the first "weapons effects" tests ever conducted - tests designed specifically to study how nuclear explosions affect other things - rather than tests of the behavior of a weapon design (as was Trinity). The purpose of the tests was to examine the effects of nuclear explosions on naval vessels, planes, and animals.

The next two videos are the largest nuclear weapon ever.
The bomb was tested on October 30, 1961, in Novaya Zemlya, an archipelago in the Arctic Sea. Tsar Bomba' (Царь-бомба, literally "Emperor Bomb") is the Western name for the RDS-220 (codenamed "Ivan" by its developers), which was the largest, most powerful nuclear weapon ever detonated. Developed by the Soviet Union, the bomb was originally designed to have a yield of about 100 megatons of TNT, however that was reduced by half in order to limit the amount of nuclear fallout that would result.

facebook is gonna cut off yer face and sell it to you for a profit in the name of freedom... and the c.i.a

i'm continualy amazed and freaked out by the interweb... bam!!!
...so the c.i.a. is quite possibly collecting info on you right now (via facebook... seriously read the article, way more to say of value than i do.). creepy... but who isn't? google's prolly had you clocked fer years...
look here and here...
...and we all know... and it gives us shivers from time to time, but what the fuck are you going to do about it really? convenience is king.
by logging into this here blogger account via my gmail address i am adding to my file... a file that no doubt includes everything i've ever posted on myspace, numerous photos i've uploaded to flickr and photobucket... the music i've aquired from limewire and soulseek... the airline tickets i've purchased through priceline... books from amazon... jennifers countless dresses from ebay... and then of course there's my credit history... school records... medical info... the 75 or more times i've been on camera today (apparently the average in london is around 300 times a day)...
very little in this world is anonymous...
even paper money helps keep an eye on who you are and what you do via rfid... after talking about it for years they've, quite recently, actually done it.
this bitch is has allot to say on the subject... she's awesome.

there's even a little tracker i can check to see who's been reading this blog today via their ip address... i can't imagine it would be that hard use that info to figure out an exact physical address.
so this is the part where i get really stoned and watch zeitgeist again... then freak out because someone else has done a better job of what i just did... take a bunch of stuff we all allready know, extrapolate on it ever so slightly, lump it together and put in some ominous music.
it sucks being this completely fucked and totally accepting it..
here is yer ominous music.
